Anna Sergeyevna Kournikova better known as just Anna Kournikova is a Russian born tennis star born on June 17th 1981. She is not only a world famous tennis player but model as well, her Russian Lolita look has made her popular around the world, in fact even more people recognize her for her looks than her tennis skills.

Anna won the Italian Open for juniors at age 14 and ended the year 1995 as Junior European Champion Under 18 and ITF Junior World Champion Under 18. The same year she debuted as a professional in the Fed Cup and won. Thew following years she battled it out with a lot of the bigger female tennis stars such as Steffi Graf, Martina Hingis but never succeded to win any of the mayor tournaments.

nna’s best archievement is reaching rank 8th in the world in womens single tennis in 2000. Her speciality is women doubles where she has partnered with Martina Hingis, the two has ranked 1st in the world multiple times. The two has won two Grand Slams in Australia in 1999 and 2002. In 2008 she is semi-retired due to serious back and spinal problems.

n a more personal note Anna has been dating Spanish singer Enrique Iglesias for the past years while pursuing a career in movies and modelling.
